Our team encountered some interesting challenges on route to this year’s Plumbing Conference, held in Nelson. As if facing the tail-end of Cyclone Debbie was not stressful enough, the aircraft was rerouted and had to perform an emergency landing at Palmerston North delaying the team’s arrival by 27 hours.
Implementing aspects from our risk management plan, the conference proceeded smoothly. A special mention of thanks was extended to the Rutherford Hotel conference team and the Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers executive team who initiated the set up of the registration desk.
