New Zealand Avocados hosted a hugely successful joint New Zealand Australian conference in September 2013 with 450 delegates, cross industry participation and a fantastic line up of speakers. It was a great decision to ask ForumPoint2 to come on board as we started preparations. Preparing and running a conference is a huge task but there are significant benefits if it all goes well. The conference management company that assisted the organising committee was ForumPoint2. Not only were they a delight to work with, they were also extremely efficient, effective and helpful. The first point of being easy to work with is very important. They managed to guide and steer while respecting the foibles and meanderings of a volunteer committee, and yet to be very on–the-ball when action was required. The preparation for the conference, including managing registrations, flight books, accommodation, etc., was excellent; the management of the day-to-day operations of the conference was also. I recommend them highly.
When Angus New Zealand was awarded the right to host the 2013 World Angus Forum we hit the jackpot when we selected ForumPoint2 and AgriTravel to assist us in hosting this international event. This was not a straightforward conference but one that had many “events” within the 15 days that registrants were in New Zealand.
There was an extensive pre-forum tour of the South Island, a wonderful week which went without a hitch, followed by separate post tours of the North Island including a five day youth adventure tour. In between The ForumPoint2 team provided an amazing four day professional conference. Their attention to detail and level of planning and co-ordination is second to none. The wonderful comments and feedback we have received having hosted this event is in no small way due to that decision we made some five years ago to appoint ForumPoint2 and AgriTravel to our team. From our first meeting with Sally and Melanie we knew we were in good hands, they completely understood what we wanted to achieve and they set themselves the task of making it happen.

We have worked with ForumPoint2 for a number of events now and have always found them to be professional and a pleasure to work with. The staff have a good feel for what we are trying to achieve at our fun night and have always come up with those special touches that help our night work. Overall we have found the conferences that have been organised by the ladies at ForumPoint2 to be well organised and enjoyable events.
In May 2014, Rotorua hosted the annual RANZCO Ophthalmic conference and the organising committee could not have done it without the services of ForumPoint2. Our experience was positive and at times, surprisingly enjoyable.
Paula Armstrong and her team worked efficiently in the background to enable a team of novices to undertake the formidable task of organising a conference and exhibition for over 300 people.
